This weekend it has rained a lot. Millie does not like the rain, and she does not like getting her paws wet; unless it is to splash in the sea or a puddle. So Mum never has to worry about muddy paw prints from Millie.
I however love to jump in the mud and explore the flower beds, so I get very muddy paws, and I make lots of mischievous paw prints! Mum always forgets about my fondness for flower beds, until the kitchen floor is properly decorated with mud.
I have done lots of good things this weekend too. We have this very beautiful new visitor to our garden. I do not bark at him and watch him nicely through the window (he is called a pheasant, not a peasant).
I sat quietly and enjoyed a toy.
I also got an paw mail from Sugar and Honey my foster sisters. Who are very happy in their new home.
Thanks to our friends for hosting this hop Alfie's Blog, Snoopy's Dog Blog, and Luna, a Dog's Life, and My Brown Newfies
Awwww.... Sugar and Honey love quite content in their new home! I like your toy! Oh wait, the pheasant isn't a toy. Sorry!
ReplyDeleteyou didn't bark at the pheasant?? you need to teach us this trick, because we bark worse at birds than we do humans and dogs!!

Hi Y'all,
ReplyDeleteI don't chase birds either.
We had 4 and a half inches of rain here Saturday. We've been in serious drought so we welcome every drop! It was warm and we went out for our walks when the thunder let up and the rain was a wee bit lighter. Not sure it helped...my coat was soaked anyway.
Y'all come back now,
Hawk aka BrownDog
What good are rainy days for except to get muddy paws?
ReplyDeleteWe don't like rain either. Yuck!
